Recreation Programs
Mt. Shasta Rec offers a wide variety of recreational programs for all members of the community.
Adult and Youth Hockey information can be found on our Siskiyou Skating Rink pages. Ice hockey is offered in late fall and winter, and roller hockey activities during the spring, summer and fall. Recreational ice skating lessons are also offered during the late fall and winter months.
Youth Basketball is offered in January and Febuary. Instructional clinics for 1st athrough 6th grade kids, with league play for 3rd through 6th graders, takes place in the Sisson School gym.
Baseball, volleyball, soccer, summer youth daycamp and many other activities are available throughout the year. Square dancing, taiko drumming, drama and a wide variety of activities are carried out through the District by community groups and organizations.
