Exercise is always important in life, but seniors benefit more form exercise than any other age group. As you age, exercise becomes more important in maintaining strength, endurance and independence. In the security of a chair, stretching, cardiovascular activities combined with strength training, using hand weights and resistant bands, can provide a complete workout with low-impact on joints. By alternating cardiovascular activity with the strengthening movements, a workout based on seated chair exercises can improve ones health and quality of life!
